Open Studio Days
Open Studio Days are a chance to step into the Inner World Building room and engage with the sandtray in a flexible, creative way. Inspired by Pat Allen's Open Studio Process, these sessions invite you to explore symbols, images, and meaning without pressure or expectation.
The focus is on process, not product - showing up, engaging with what emerges, and allowing insight to unfold in its own time.
In the studio you'll find sand, water, figures, and space to build from your inner world. You're free to follow your impulses, experiment, and return to images that feel alive. Afterwards, there's time for gentle reflection - through writing, sharing, or simply sitting with what you've created.
Open Studio Days emphasize trust in the creative process and the value of slowing down, noticing, and engaging symbolically. There's no right or wrong way to participate. Each person works independently within a shared space, held by the collective presence of the group. Interpretation or analysis of another person's creation is discouraged. Witnessing without judgment is encouraged.
Open Studio Days are not psychotherapy or group therapy, but a creative and reflective studio space for personal exploration and self-discovery.
