Three Ways To Build

For Explorers

Inner World Building is a creative, symbolic process that helps bring what’s beneath words to the surface. Using sand and figures, you follow what calls to you, letting images and patterns emerge.

We then take time to reflect, connecting your discoveries to daily life. These insights often bring greater confidence, clarity, and alignment — lasting well beyond the session.

Try a single session to explore, or a series to build depth and momentum.

For Athletes

Inner World Building offers athletes a new way to approach performance challenges and personal growth. In the sandtray, you’ll build and reflect on symbolic worlds that bring hidden patterns to the surface. Alongside this, we’ll use practical tools—such as breathing, reframing, and visualization—to connect the inner work to your sport.

The process helps athletes develop confidence, focus, and self-awareness both on and off the field.

Open Studio Days

Open Studio Days are a chance to experience Inner World Building in a shared, creative setting. After a brief introduction, you’ll have time to create your own sandtray world at your own pace, guided by a fresh monthly theme to spark exploration.  Whether you’re returning or trying it for the first time, the studio is open for you.  1st Sunday of every month 2pm-3:30pm:

About the Guide

World Building is a hands-on, creative process that helps you discover and work with parts of yourself that words alone can’t reach.  My own journey began as a professional athlete, where I saw how play, relationships, and creativity can shape confidence and well-being. Later, through psychology training and work with athletes and individuals, I found that Sandplay—what I call Inner World Building—offers a powerful way to explore and grow. It blends structure with openness, making space for insight, healing, and change. Today, I combine this practice with my background as a licensed psychologist and experience in sport to support people in building confidence, resilience, and deeper self-connection.

What Is This Work?

Inner World Building is a creative, hands-on process that takes place in a sandtray using figures and symbols. It invites you to step away from words and enter a quieter, more intuitive way of exploring what matters to you. The process has a rhythm and structure, while also leaving room for unexpected discoveries to emerge. These discoveries often bring fresh perspective, confidence, and a greater sense of connection to yourself. Unlike traditional talk-only approaches, Inner World Building blends play, imagination, and reflection to access deeper layers of experience. The work is gentle but powerful, supporting both healing and growth.
